Title: Heavy bass or rather light bass?

(...) thanks to the padded headband and the circumaural over-ear phones, it is very soft and comfortable on your head. This means that the contact pressure is ideal and the exclusion of external sound is good. The size of the headband can be adjusted as usual and, like the other models from beyerdynamic, is made of tough sprung steel.
As almost all of the headphone’s add-on parts can be replaced, you can customise it, altering its appearance to meet your own taste.
Even though all four modes have quite their own character, you move relatively linearly between the various bass settings. For even the slightest bass reproduction, external noises are well screened out, while the headphones strike up very dynamically.
Even at the second level “Linear bass”, the lower frequencies start to dominate (...). With the “Vibrant bass” setting, when listening to rock music, we get more depth for the drums and a clear lift of the bass. Fortunately, even with “Heavy bass”, the high tones are scarcely affected. The low tones are reproduced with a pleasant punch; however, we notice a gentle overall shift in the balance of the mid-range frequencies. In general, this is a set of headphones which we can recommend.
